Incorporated in January 2005, G-Mag™ International is a division of Magna™ International, Inc. Dedicated to providing lightweight magnesium components to both the transportation and electronics industries, G-Mag International uses technology and equipment from Husky™, and other industry-leading suppliers.
Magna Advanced Technologies has had a relationship with Husky Injection Molding Systems since 2002. Husky is the world’s largest brand name supplier of injection plastics molding equipment and services, and a leader in the development of high-speed magnesium metal molding processes and equipment for thin-wall component production.
A forward thinking company, G-Mag International delivers components respected for their quality, design engineering innovation, and program cost savings that are so critical in today’s marketplace.
G-Mag International’s North American manufacturing facility is located in Mississauga, just outside of Toronto, Canada.
G-Mag’s sister company, G-Mag™ Europe GmbH, located in Lebring, Austria, also provides magnesium metal molding to the European market.
Both companies share their customer base and technology, and most importantly, best practices. G-Mag Europe GmbH’s extensive injection plastic molding experience enables us to explore new shapes and design solutions in magnesium. The two companies have an employee exchange program to share expertise and global market understanding.
